Position Details

Title: Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Location: Barstow, CA 92311 (Remote)

Shift: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

Pay Rate: $17/hr – $19/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls from members and providers regarding benefits, eligibility, authorizations, and claim status
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Accurately input and manage patient data in internal systems
  • Identify crisis calls and escalate appropriately
  • Support routine referrals and documentation intake
  • Provide high-quality customer service per organizational standards
  • Identify operational issues and suggest process improvements
  • Stay current on policy changes, training, and procedural updates
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare customer service or call centers
