Job summary

IMS Integrated Merchandising Solutions is seeking a Client Services Associate to support order processing, item and inventory maintenance, and issue resolution. You will manage internal emails and provide clear status updates to clients and teams.

Key duties include prioritizing orders, collaborating with Account Management, Production, Finance and operations, and ensuring timely reporting. The role reports to a Manager/Supervisor and offers growth within a dynamic merchandising environment.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of customer service, reporting, or purchase order experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines.
  • Experience with AS400 or similar database systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as daily internal contact for order management and associated inquiries
  • Assist with special projects as necessary
  • Manage incoming emails from varying internal sources
  • Generate clear, consistent communication to internal and external team members regarding status and requirements of programs
  • Work collaboratively with all Account Management, Client Services, Production, Finance and operations staff
  • Facilitate accurate incoming inventory (item setup validation, PO’s and communication with the warehouse)
  • Follow-through on exception reporting from beginning to end – generate reports, code items, follow-up with stakeholders, and problem solve as necessary to eliminate exceptions
  • Prioritize orders and/or projects, including prompt expediting of emergency requests
  • Maintain and distribute various reports as needed to ensure daily requirements are met

What does a Client Services Associate do?

The Client Services Associate is responsible for assisting in duties associated with order processing, item/inventory maintenance, troubleshooting/issue resolution, and managing emails from our internal and external customers. This position reports to a Manager/Supervisor.

The Skills and Experience you have:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years of customer service, reporting, or purchase order experience
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently and prioritize multiple projects and requests
  • Must be a team player
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Experience with AS400 or similar database systems preferred
