Job summary

Imperial (IDI) is seeking a Retail Merchandiser in Wilbraham, MA to support supermarket partners with well-stocked and visually appealing in-line categories, seasonal displays, and promotions. You will build in-store relationships, generate sales orders, stock shelves, and address basic store issues across assigned locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising preferred.
• Basic computer skills – ability to login and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of merchandising or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small groups.

Responsibilities

• Make regularly scheduled store visits.
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained.
• Place and maintain displays (promotions and new items).
• Complete resets.
• Build relationships with store managers and employees.
• Stock merchandise and maintain shelf conditions.
• Ensure tag/price compliance.
• Reorder products you service.
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections and cross merchandise.
• Prepare weekly service reports via tablet.
• Manage back stock and ensure product on shelf.
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties Include

• Make regularly scheduled store visits
• Ensure inline General Merchandise categories are well stocked and maintained
• Place/Maintain displays (set up promotional and sales displays, introduction and cut-in of new items)
• Complete resets
• Build relationship with store managers and employees
• Stock merchandise
• Maintain shelf conditions by keeping sections blocked and free of debris
• Tag/price compliance
• Reorder products that you service
• Maintain inventory levels for inline sections, power panels, clip strips, and cross merchandise
• Prepare and complete weekly service reports for timely submission via tablet
• Manage back stock ensuring product is worked to shelf
• Ensure planogram compliance at shelf
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule: Monday-Friday in Wilbraham MA

This role qualifies for a commission-based pay option. The hourly base pay would be between $15.75-$20.00 depending on experience plus commission of up to $4.89 more per hour based on weekly sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising is preferred.
• Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of product and/or experience with merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
