Job summary

K&M Tire is a family-owned wholesale tire distributor serving the Southeast since 1985. We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative for our Hickory, NC location to grow existing accounts and build strong relationships with customers.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), professional, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced distribution environment, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales growth.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Prior sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in tire/automotive or distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and assist with product availability, pricing, and order placement.
• Provide outstanding daily customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Support sales growth through proactive account management and relationship development.
• Monitor customer buying trends and communicate opportunities.
• Visit customer locations periodically to strengthen relationships and support business growth.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Serve as a translator for Spanish-speaking customers.

K&M Tire is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative for our Hickory, North Carolina location. This position plays a key role in supporting daily customer operations, growing sales within existing accounts, and building strong relationships with both current and prospective customers.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, professional, organized, driven to grow business, and comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
