Job summary

Haggard & Stocking on Indianapolis's southeast side is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle inquiries, enter orders, and quote pricing. You will interact with customers, vendors, and sales staff, expediting orders and negotiating pricing as needed.

This role offers regular hours (Mon-Fri, 7:30–4:30), a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer contact via telephone, and/or in person.
• Enter customer orders.
• Quote customer pricing, both verbally and electronically.
• Expedite customer orders and direct purchase orders when customer inquires.
• Negotiate pricing with customers and vendors.
• Interact with outside sales personnel.
• Interact with vendor representatives.
• Price large spreadsheet type quote packages (Excel).
• Make quick decisions.
• Other duties, which may be assigned by manager.
