Customer Service Representative
Work Location: Onsite in Dayton, OH
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Due to company growth, AmeriWater is seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Service Representative to join our team!

Job Description

The Customer Service Representative processes customer orders, from electronic or verbal requests. Assists with customer inquiries including part numbers, freight quotes, tracking information, product lead times, literature, and manuals. Handles Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests for warranty claims on defective parts, tracks RMAs, and contacts customers for return shipments. Notifies the Quality Department of significant complaints for trending purposes. Files completed sales orders manually or electronically.

The position reports to the Director of Finance and Administration.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Process customer orders
2. Process Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
3. Ensure proper documentation of all orders and returns
4. Confirm acknowledgment of customer orders electronically with proper lead times
5. Ensure correct entry of orders
6. Provide media repack quotes for High Efficiency Filtration systems
7. Verify accuracy of order pricing and freight charges
8. Update database and call tracking systems as required
9. Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information for configuration activities

Qualifications:

• Some college, technical, or vocational school preferred
• Experience with Salesforce, MS Office 365, and ERP systems required
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, adaptable, dependable
