Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a REMOTE Customer Service Representative to work for our client in the healthcare industry. Apply now for consideration!

Contract: 6 months, W2

Location: REMOTE (rotating shifts between 8am-8pm EST—2 evening shifts required during the week, other days flexible.)

Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve customer service calls empathetically and professionally.
  • Accurately document, research, and resolve all inquiries, ensuring documentation is clear and complete.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries on the first call by identifying the topic and type of assistance needed (benefits, eligibility, material requests, physician assignments, claims, billing, and payment, etc.) using all available resources.
  • Monitor and expeditiously close inquiries requiring follow-up based on departmental guidelines.
  • Refer unresolved inquiries or grievances to designated areas for investigation.
  • Own problems through resolution on behalf of the caller in real time or through comprehensive and timely follow-up, partnering with others to resolve complex issues.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED; College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience; ACD call center experience preferred.
  • Availability to work two evening shifts per week (typically 11am-8pm EST).
  • Availability to work three holidays not observed (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day).
  • Reliable high-speed internet with the ability to hardwire connection to home router.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM.
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD10 coding preferred.
