Job summary

PPS in Parma Heights is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to support our fabrication operation. This full-time, permanent role offers profit-sharing bonuses and on-site gym access, with strong potential for growth at a 100-year company.

You will partner with Sales to quote products, forecast demand, and manage ERP-driven orders while coordinating with engineering and quality teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree acceptable with relevant experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years in customer service, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating with Sales, Quality/Engineering, and procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Representatives to quote products accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with customers to forecast part demand based on historical usage and production plans.
• Respond to customer quality and engineering requests while coordinating with supervisors and internal quality/engineering teams.
• Manage and enter sales orders and quotations into the ERP system.
• Review customer purchase orders for material specifications, packaging requirements, and pricing; provide recommendations when appropriate.
• Review customer prints for dimensional accuracy, material specifications, and other critical requirements.
• Process returned orders within the ERP system, coordinate returns and replacement shipments, and work with quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Partner with procurement to coordinate strategic purchasing of metals/alloys to fulfill customer requirements and monitor precious metal contract balances.

Education:
