Job summary

G.S. Precision, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry/Customer Service professional in Brattleboro, VT.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate orders, coordinating with production and planning, and updating customers with schedule changes. You will act as a liaison across departments to ensure timely deliveries and responsive service. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient with spreadsheets and updating/tracking data for customers and sales.

• Communicate with customers via email, portal, and phone.
• Provide production status and manage special instructions and delivery changes.
• Handle upset customers professionally and follow up on inquiries.
• Learn and provide backup for Order Entry.

Job Objective:

Manage strategic customer accounts, act as a liaison between key customers, production and planning to manage orders, schedules and delivery changes.

Responsibilities:

• Proficient with spreadsheets – updating and tracking spreadsheets for customers and for the sales department to provide weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly updates
• Attention to detail - verifying the accuracy of orders and quotes, general data entry
• Communicating with customers through various channels; email, portal, phone
• Understanding order process and parts for providing production status, coordinating special instructions, and managing customer requests
• Ability to perform professionally in situations when customers become upset because of late orders or the inability to get an order when they need it
• Respond quickly and accurately to inquiries and follow up, as needed
• Interact professionally with co-workers and management
• Learn and provide backup for Order Entry

Requirements
