Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative in Charleston, TN. You will support transportation operations by communicating with carriers, scheduling shipments, and handling carrier billing while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include monitoring shipments, resolving issues, maintaining records, and preparing reports. The role offers a 1st shift schedule (M, W, F) with a pay rate of $19.25 per hour and eligible bonuses, benefits, and company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 0-12 months of system, data entry or reporting experience.
• 0-12 months of warehouse experience preferred.

The core responsibilities of this role include: We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Role Purpose

Communicating with carriers, scheduling shipments, and processing carrier billing to support transportation and customer service operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Communicate with carriers to coordinate transportation activities and ensure timely movement of shipments.
• Schedule outbound and inbound shipments, deliveries, and carrier appointments.
• Process and reconcile carrier billing, invoices, and transportation-related charges.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Resolve carrier and transportation issues, including delays, discrepancies, and service concerns.
• Maintain accurate transportation, billing, and customer records within company systems.
• Support customer service operations by responding to inquiries and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with carriers and transportation partners.
• Prepare transportation and service-related reports as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 0-12 months of system, data entry or reporting experience
• 0-12 months of warehouse experience, preferred

Position: CSR

Shift: 1st Shift Part-Time (M,W,F 8:30 AM –; 5:00 PM)

Pay: $19.25/hour

Role Purpose

Process orders and prepare correspondence to fulfill customer needs. Responsible for providing product, service, and transit information to the customer and act as a liaison to facilitate issue resolution.

Key Accountabilities

• Resolve product or service problems: clarify the customer’s complaint, determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problems, expedite correction or adjustment, follow up to ensure resolution.
• Maintain customer records and update account information.
• Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
• Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information. Assist with order and product management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
