Job Summary:
- The Customer Service Representative will provide high quality customer support within a fast paced, high volume call center environment.
- The role will handle account inquiries, account maintenance, online navigation, transaction research, and related customer service needs.
- The representative will accurately authenticate customers, follow established policies and procedures, and proactively identify and elevate potential risks.
- The position requires strong communication skills, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining an engaging customer experience.
- Candidates must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and flexibility throughout training and regular operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, complete, and accurate responses to customer and internal partner inquiries during each interaction.
- Handle balance inquiries, account maintenance requests, online navigation and maintenance, and transaction research.
- Navigate multiple applications and systems to research account information, policies, procedures, products, and services.
- Accurately authenticate customers and protect confidential and sensitive information in accordance with established procedures.
- Identify potential risks and elevate issues appropriately while maintaining compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Resolve customer concerns effectively and professionally while de escalating difficult situations and preventing customer dissatisfaction.
- Maintain accurate notes and information while actively engaging with customers during high volume calls.
- Participate fully in required onsite training and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems while accurately entering information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent grammar.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced, high volume call center environment.
- Strong problem solving, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
- Strong attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to work the assigned overnight schedule after completion of training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in financial services or banking environments.
- Experience supporting account maintenance and transaction research.
- Experience working with multiple customer service applications and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace coaching and continuously improve performance.
- Strong self motivation and a positive professional attitude.
