Job summary

AvaHR is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our in-office Chandler team. You will handle inquiries by phone, email and chat, guide onboarding, and demonstrate the software to clients. Strong CRM experience and clear communication are essential.

You will work closely with the technical support team to resolve issues, log interactions in the CRM, and help customers get the most from our HR software. This is a fast-paced role with ongoing product training.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or support experience (software/SaaS/tech is a plus).
• CRM experience with HubSpot or Salesforce preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain software features clearly during demos.
• Must be able to work on-site in Chandler, AZ.

Job description

AvaHR is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. AvaHR builds HR and hiring software for small and mid-sized businesses, and our customer support team is the first point of contact for the companies that use it.

In this customer service role, you'll answer customer questions by phone, email, and chat, walk new clients through software onboarding, give product demos, and work with our technical support team to solve problems. If you enjoy helping people, learning new software, and working in a fast-paced office, this is a great fit.

This is an in-office position in Chandler, AZ. It is not remote.

What You'll Do

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and chat with timely, accurate answers
• Demo the software with warm leads and hiring managers
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues to keep clients happy and retained
• Lead live software demos and show clients how to use key features
• Guide new customers through onboarding and account setup
• Log every customer interaction in our CRM so nothing falls through the cracks
• Work with the technical support team to resolve software issues
• Learn our HR software inside and out so you can recommend the right solutions
• Track customer feedback and share ideas with management to improve our service and product
• Take part in team meetings and ongoing product training

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of customer service or customer support experience (software, SaaS, or tech support experience is a plus)
• Clear, friendly verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using a CRM (such as HubSpot or Salesforce) and comfort with computers and new software
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to explain software features in simple terms during demos
• Excellent organization and the ability to juggle multiple customer requests
• High school diploma or GED required; customer service certification or college coursework preferred
• Must be able to work on-site in Chandler, AZ
