- 100% remote/telework position with a home office within 50 miles of specified locations in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. In-office positions are also available in Boise, ID.
- Start Date: June 30, 2025
- Rate of pay: $18.00 per hour
- Paid Training: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm MST
- Post-training shifts: 9:00am - 6:00pm MST or 9:30am - 6:30pm MST
- No weekend, holiday, or late evening shifts past 7:30pm MST
- 15% shift differential for hours outside 8:00am - 5:00pm MST

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of call center experience or two years of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
- Knowledge of customer service skills, typically acquired through a two-year business degree or related field
Telecommute Requirements
- Must reside within 50 miles of an MDU/Intermountain Gas District Office
- Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps download)
- Quiet, ergonomic home office environment
- Ability to work independently and communicate via phone/video
- Compliance with company policies on information security and conduct
Other Requirements
- Protect networks and data from cyber threats
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorships)
- Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required
- Adhere to dress code and work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 12 months of employment before bidding outside the Customer Service Center
- Pre-employment drug testing and background checks
Job Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and requests verbally and in writing
- Respond to emergencies following protocols; new hires generate emergency requests after 90 days
- Research and resolve customer issues using various tools
- Understand and apply collection practices; educate customers on energy assistance programs
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
