Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly and motivated Customer Service Representative at our Anthem location. You will be the face of our service, assisting customers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using U-Scan technology to dispatch and return rentals.

The role offers on-the-job education and opportunities to advance within the company. Minimum qualifications include a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Educate customers regarding products and services and answer questions.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and assist with propane fill.
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
