Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our friendly service. You’ll help customers at the center and on-site, dispatch and return equipment using U-Scan technology, and assist with equipment inspection and maintenance.

Responsibilities include guiding customers, preparing invoices, installing hitches, and learning through U-Haul University. This is a part-time, on-site role with benefits and the potential for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane handling may be required (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
