Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Lynwood, CA is seeking a detail-oriented coordinator to ensure orders align with delivery dates, verify POs against work orders, and provide customers with timely updates within a 4-hour window.

You will coordinate with production for ECDs, prepare orders for ship-out, and develop daily reports on orders for production. The role requires a GED, 2+ years manufacturing experience, ability to lift 25 pounds, and compliance with EAR/ITAR rules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review the MRP system to ensure customer order due dates align with required delivery dates
• Verify customer purchase orders against internal work orders to ensure compliance with process requirements
• Provide continuous updates to customers on order status within a 4 hour time frame
• Communicate with customers on any additional blueprints, drawings, or items needed for processing
• Coordinate with production on obtaining ECDs for orders
• Prepare orders for ship out or other areas as needed
• Develop daily reports on orders and communicate with production
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or less
• Requires frequent speaking, sitting, and walking
• Occasional grasping, reaching, and bending
• Sense of sound, touch, and sight

• Verify customer purchase orders against internal work order to ensure that the company can comply with process requirements and all processes have been flowed down correctly
• Provide continuous updates to customers on the status of their orders within the allotted 4 hour time frame
• Communicate with customers on any additional blue prints, drawings, or other items needed for processing
• Coordinate with production on obtaining ECD's for orders
• Prepare orders in ship out or other areas as needed
• Develop daily reports on orders and communicate with production

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience: 2 plus years of experience in manufacturing

Compensation Range: $18.00 - 25.00
