Responsibilities

• Process and update customer orders in the ERP system with part numbers, pricing, quantities, and dates.
• Create and update customer templates and related order records.
• Provide acknowledgments and status updates to customers; communicate changes or delays.
• Support procurement through purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and expediting.
• Support planning by reviewing material availability and tracking open orders.
• Coordinate with shipping on priorities, requirements, and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain Excel and Power BI reports on open orders, shortages, and on-time delivery.

Power Drives, Inc. is a Buffalo‑based manufacturer specializing in custom‑engineered hose, tube, and fluid conveyance systems for a wide range of industrial and mobile equipment applications. Founded in 1946, PDI is known for delivering high‑quality, reliable solutions backed by strong engineering expertise and decades of industry experience.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-5:00 PM & Friday 7:30AM-11:30AM

Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour as well as monthly performance incentive

This role is 100% onsite

Objective:

Support accurate customer order processing and coordinate procurement, planning, and shipping activities to meet customer requirements and support on-time delivery.

• High School Diploma
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD) or Microsoft Excel/Power BI certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of Power BI for reviewing dashboards and supporting reports.
• At least one relevant internship or co‑op, or 1 year of work experience, in customer order processing, supply chain, procurement, planning, shipping, or a related area.
• Knowledge of Sage X3 or a comparable ERP system is a plus; manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and update customer orders in the ERP system, verifying part numbers, pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and shipping requirements.
• Create, maintain, and update customer templates and related records to ensure accurate order processing.
• Provide customer order acknowledgments and status updates, and communicate changes or potential delays.
• Support procurement through purchase order processing, supplier follow‑up, delivery confirmations, and material expediting.
• Support planning by reviewing material availability, tracking open orders and shortages, and coordinating production and delivery priorities.
• Coordinate with shipping on shipment priorities, customer requirements, documentation, and order completion.
• Prepare and maintain Excel and Power BI reports covering open orders, shortages, supplier deliveries, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate ERP data and identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce errors.

Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour as well as monthly performance incentives
