Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of the company’s exceptional service. You will assist customers, manage rentals with U-Scan technology, and help with vehicle and equipment inspections.

The role includes responsibilities from moving and hooking up trucks to educating customers about products and services, with certifications offered for propane filling and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to move and assist with equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and educate customers about products.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane filling (certification offered).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
