Job summary

First Packaging Systems Inc. is seeking a motivated Customer Service / Order Entry specialist in the Chino, CA area.

You will be the first contact for customers, develop relationships, place and monitor orders, schedule deliveries, and coordinate with warehouses to ensure timely fulfillment. Responsibilities include quoting and generating POs, managing vendor cost updates, forecasting replenishment needs, maintaining records, and proposing improvements based on customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers developing new and fostering existing relationships.
• Act as first point of contact placing, monitoring, and tracking customer orders.
• Schedule delivery appointments for direct & indirect orders and communicate with warehouse and customers accordingly.
• Quote and generate Purchase Orders.
• Manage vendor cost changes and updates, internally and with customers.
• Communicate with customers to understand needs and find the best possible solutions to customer concerns.
• Arrange freight, scheduling, delivery of inbound stock from vendors.
• Maintain proper record retention on all receiving, sales orders, deliveries, and routing.
• Replenishment planning: demand forecasting, lead time forecasting, order frequency analysis, service level analysis.
• Analyze inventory needs and place purchase orders accordingly for general and customer dedicated stock.
• Recommends changes in process and procedures based on customer feedback.
• Use product, market, and functional knowledge in combination with company processes, procedures, and applications to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
