Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a supportive team and be the face of exceptional service. You will help customers by inspecting and maintaining equipment, using U-Scan tech to manage rentals, and assisting with deliveries and returns.

The role includes hands-on responsibilities such as hooking up trucks, filling propane, installing wiring, and learning through U-Haul University. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude is beneficial.
• Ability to use smartphone-based technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane filling and forklift operation (certifications offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
