Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team, assisting customers and inspecting equipment. You will use U-Scan tech to dispatch rentals, move and hook up trucks, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for customers.

The role offers on-the-job education, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities to advance within the company. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to operate smartphones and rental software.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot, including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
