Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Madison, AL to be the face of our friendly team. You will assist customers with rentals and services, inspect equipment, and help them plan their journeys. You will use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals, move and hook up trucks, and handle invoices.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluids
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and complete certifications as offered
• Fill propane and forklift operation certifications may be provided
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University
• Other duties as assigned
