Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face of the company, helping customers with rentals, equipment inspections, and related services.

You’ll use mobile U-Scan tech to manage inventory, move and connect trucks, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for customers. The role offers on-the-job education, with opportunities to advance and participate in U-Haul University programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and prepare equipment for rental and return.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operations (certifications offered after employment).
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
