Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Birmingham to greet customers, support rentals, and ensure equipment is safe and ready for use. You will work on a team to deliver exceptional service at the location.

The role emphasizes helping customers, inspecting equipment, and using technology to dispatch and return items. On-the-job training and certification opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience assisting customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot, including fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
