Job summary

BFS Foods in Beckley, WV is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide fast, friendly service to customers and support daily store operations.

The CSR role is hourly, reports to the General Manager, and requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, basic math for store forms, and basic computer use. Knowledge of English is essential. Training provided and opportunities for advancement may be available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to learn and use computer systems.
• Ability to perform basic math for store forms.
• Dependable team member with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with fellow employees in a productive manner.
• Stand for up to eight hours and work any scheduled shift.
• Provide fast, friendly service to customers.
• Check identification and pricing of merchandise.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and handle groceries and beverages.
• Stock shelves and coolers; retrieve merchandise as needed.
• Clean windows, change gas price signs, sweep and mop floors.
• Handle cleaning products safely and be exposed to them as needed.
• Enter and work in a cooler (36–40°F) for up to 45 minutes.
• Enter and work in a freezer (0°F) for up to 10 minutes.
• Learn and use computer systems for store tasks.
