Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Minimum Qualifications: 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Minimum Qualifications: Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Minimum Qualifications: Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Minimum Qualifications: Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
• Preferred Qualifications: 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Bi-lingual skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
