Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Arlington, Texas. You will be the face of our service, assisting customers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using U-Scan technology to dispatch and return rentals.

This part-time role offers on-the-job education and opportunities to learn across the U-Haul system. We provide a benefits-rich environment with interviews scheduled as hands-on sessions, and bonuses upon hiring and certification programs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
