Job summary

The Spinx Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver fast, friendly service in a team environment. The CSR will handle transactions, support store operations, and uphold safety and food service standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, adhering to policies, and assisting customers at checkout and self-checkout areas where available. Must be able to read and communicate in English and adapt to varied shifts in a hospitality-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Language: Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Mathematical skills: Ability to work with fractions, percentages, ratios.
• Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Report for scheduled shifts on time and in proper uniform with a clean, professional appearance.
• Cross-train and perform all retail and food service responsibilities to ensure operational flexibility.
• Follow safety policies and report accidents or hazards to your Store Safety Coordinator or GM.
• Provide fast, friendly and accurate service; ensure customers are respected and feel appreciated.
• Maintain an organized work area, clean sales floor, and spotless restrooms.
• Keep the exterior of the building and forecourt clean.
• Protect company assets, including cash and inventory, and handle cash according to policies.
• Ensure compliance with age-restricted sale policies with proper ID when required.
• Support merchandising, pricing, food service and administrative requirements.
• Set a positive tone and demonstrate knowledge of store functions.
• Follow Store Operations Communication Guideline for communication.
• Assist customers at self-checkout and expedite lines where applicable.
