Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. seeks a Customer Service Clerk to provide high-quality service at the front end of the store.

You will operate electronic scanning cash registers, handle payments and discounts, assist with Loyalty Program sign-ups, bag items, and manage money orders, lottery tickets, and wire transfers. You will also maintain the cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk, restock displays, and adhere to the uniform policy in a friendly, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience.
• Ability to operate electronic scanning cash registers and money-counting machines.
• Strong problem-solving and composure under pressure.

• Reliable with regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate electronic scanning cash registers and process payments.
• Honor discounts and coupons and assist with Loyalty Program questions.
• Sell money orders, lotto tickets, and transfer funds by wire.
• Process returns, sell gift cards, and manage other transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk and store front.
• Replace stock in display areas and follow uniform policy.
