Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to deliver high-quality service at the front of the store. You will operate cash registers, process payments, apply discounts, and assist customers with loyalty program questions or sign-ups while maintaining a clean and organized service desk area.

You will also handle money orders, gift cards, lotto tickets, and transfers, process returns, and adhere to the dress code.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills or related experience.
• Ability to operate electronic scanning cash registers and machines for counting money, wire transfer processing, and lottery.
• Problem-solving skills to handle stressful and complex situations calmly and professionally.
• Clear communication with customers and team members.
• Multi-task and maintain a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability with regular, predictable attendance and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate electronic scanning cash registers and handle payments.
• Assist customers with Loyalty Program questions or sign-ups.
• Bag items and maintain cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk and front area.
• Process returns, sell gift cards and lottery tickets, and handle other transactions as needed.
• Adhere to the uniform and grooming policy.
