Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Colorado Springs is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Specialist to support our retail store. You will assist customers in person and over the phone, determine needs, recommend products, and process sales with accuracy.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent service, maintaining product displays, stocking shelves, and upholding store standards. Prior retail or paint-supply experience and a willingness to work evenings and weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have at least a “meets expectations” rating on your last performance appraisal.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Maintain clean store equipment.
• Assist in deliveries and loading/unloading as needed.
