Job summary

Welch Packaging is seeking a Customer Service Representative to engage with customers and support sales. You will handle inquiries by phone or email, process orders, and maintain accurate customer data in Amtech while upholding Welch Core Values.

The role emphasizes strong communication, meticulous organization, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. You will collaborate with Sales and Territory Managers to ensure timely, correct shipments and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Experience using Amtech operating system.
• Proficient email communication.
• Ability to learn and navigate customer web portals.
• Align with Welch Core Values.
• Strong communication, organized, detail-oriented, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Escalate queries to the Customer Service Manager.
• Enter all orders with six checkpoints to avoid PO issues.
• Maintain accurate customer information in Amtech.
• Maintain customer item specs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products/services.
• Coordinate customer pickups of defective products with shipping.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and Territory Managers.
• Serve as main internal contact for Sales.
• Inform customers of late/partial shipments and resolve.
• Generate and maintain quotes distributed by Sales.
• Qualify order due dates for short lead times and monitor machine hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
