Job summary

Euclid Chemical Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the main contact for customers and sales personnel, handling orders from entry to invoicing with accuracy and timeliness.

The role supports the sales team, coordinates nationwide shipments, and delivers an exceptional customer experience, with an attractive benefits package and bonuses based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Experience working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• SAP or other ERP/MRP system experience.
• Experience managing order fulfillment, shipping coordination, or logistics-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and process orders via phone and other channels.
• Enter sales orders into SAP accurately and on the same day received.
• Review orders for completeness and correctness prior to processing.
• Provide timely, accurate information to customers, reps and management.
• Coordinate shipments from multiple warehouse locations across the U.S.
• Ensure orders are shipped and invoiced on schedule.
• Process complaints and return requests with required approvals.
• Maintain documentation for exceptions and special requests.
• Enter customer quotes from sales reps.
• Process product returns and credits as needed.
• Collaborate with Credit, Accounting, Inventory, Traffic and Purchasing.
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
