Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, help set up plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and maximize profitability through strong teamwork. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, and maintain store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build and stock merchandise displays and rotate items on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases, collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and comply with policies.
