Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, and assist in setting up plan-o-grams and programs. You will also operate the cash register, greet customers, and maintain store cleanliness.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, assisting customers, processing payments, and helping with merchandise ordering and merchandising setup in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases and bag merchandise.
• Collect payments and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
• Clean store front and assist with sidewalk displays.
