Job summary

Dorothy Lane Market is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Front End Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of the Front End department, including cashiering, bagging, and Guest Services. This full-time role requires evening and weekend availability and strong customer service leadership.

You will hire, train, and develop staff, delegate tasks for efficient operations, and coach a team to deliver Honestly Better service.

Qualifications

• Customer service and leadership experience.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• 18 years old or older.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Desire to provide Honestly Better Food and Service.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Front End department.
• Be able to work proficiently in all roles of the department including cashiering, bagging, and Guest Services.
• Solve customer issues and inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Effectively delegate tasks in order to promote efficient operations.
• Build a strong team while demonstrating servant leadership.
• Serve as a positive role model for our Cashiers and Carry-outs.
• Oversee hiring, training, and development of department staff.
• Oversee scheduling for the Front End and collaborate with other departments when help is needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated leader to join our Front End team. This position requires someone with cashier experience, excellent customer service skills, and leadership qualities to manage the day-to-day operations of our Front End. Hours for the position are full time, and require some evening shifts as well as weekend availability.

What You’ll Do:
