Job summary

Dorothy Lane Market is seeking friendly associates to provide excellent customer service at our checkout and service areas. You will help guests with purchases, answer questions, and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and occasional assistance to customers to their cars. Weekend availability is preferred to meet busy times.

Qualifications

• Desire to make customers happy by providing Honestly Better food and service.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

These very important positions are our last chance to interact with our customers, so it’s an opportunity to make them feel welcomed and satisfied that they chose to shop at Dorothy Lane Market. These positions do require standing for long periods of time, braving the elements while helping customers to their car with purchases, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Due to the nature of our busy times, some weekend availability is a must in this position.
