Job Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Service Maintenance Technician responsible for safely maintaining, servicing, and occasionally installing/removing various types of bulk liquid and gaseous cryogenic supply systems (Nitrogen, Argon, Oxygen, CO2, and Hydrogen).
The individual will respond to service calls, perform supply system inspections, and conduct preventative maintenance on assigned accounts, ensuring compliance with all safety policies.
The candidate should communicate professionally with colleagues, customers, vendors, and the sales department. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet searches, smartphones, and tablets is required.
The technician typically works 8-hour days, is on call 24/7 unless scheduled off, and works outdoors in all weather conditions. Day travel and occasional overnight stays are required within the Midwest territory, including Indianapolis, IN. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are necessary.
Applicants should be self-starters, capable of multitasking, managing time effectively, and planning work priorities. Good communication skills with management, sales, the call center, and customers are essential.
Training will be provided at the Linde National Training Center in East Chicago, Indiana, including classroom courses and on-the-job training, some requiring overnight stays.
