Job Description - Customer Service Maintenance Technician (25000799)
We are seeking a Customer Service Maintenance Technician responsible for safely installing, maintaining, inspecting, and removing cryogenic supply systems (liquid and gaseous). The technician ensures reliable operation of the cryogenic system to meet customer requirements. Routine tasks include pipefitting, rotating equipment PMs, electrical analysis, oxygen cleaning of new components, and troubleshooting refrigeration systems.
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet searches, smartphones, tablets, and handheld data entry devices.
The technician works an 8-hour day with overtime as needed and is on call 24/7, excluding holidays and paid time off. A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle safely in all weather conditions are required.
The candidate must be organized, a self-starter, and able to plan daily workload. This position reports remotely to the Customer Service Maintenance Superintendent at the Ontario, CA facility, covering the greater AZ and New Mexico territory. Residency within proximity to this territory is required.
Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with sales representatives, customers, and internal teams. Core skills include reading prints and schematics, understanding materials of construction, and system components such as regulators, valves, solenoids, and pressure relief devices.
Training will be provided at our National Training Center in East Chicago, IN, including classes on BAG systems, hydrogen, CO2, high-pressure pumping, electrical systems, pipe joining, technical cleaning, and certifications.
