Job summary

CRH, through Preferred Materials - Concrete Division in Florida, is seeking a driver scheduler to coordinate delivery schedules for ready-mix, sand, gravel and related materials. The role requires input of orders via phone, radio, and email and close coordination with drivers to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 2 years in a high-volume environment, and solid knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 2 years in high-volume call center or related construction experience preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong ability to coordinate schedules and communicate with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules and maintain contact with drivers for delivery routes.
• Answer phone, radio, and email to input orders from customers.
• Schedule orders accurately using the company systems.
• Monitor routes and adjust for timely deliveries in coordination with drivers.
• Adhere to safety/OSHA requirements and company policies.
• Input data and create driver schedules as needed.
