The role focuses on supporting daily logistics execution, load validation, and proactive problem solving to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of logistics experience, a general understanding of the transportation industry, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.
• Update account managers on problem loads and document actions taken; update receivers and customers on load status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying loads arrive on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers, ensuring loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete the appropriate documentation.

Our client, Logistics and Transportation is seeking a CWR-Specialist, Logistics to join their team. As a CWR-Specialist, Logistics, you will be part of the Operations team supporting daily logistics execution. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CWR-Specialist, Logistics

Location: Suffolk, VA

Pay Range: $19.00

Shift: Monday-Saturday 5:00 am- 1:30 pm

What's the Job?

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
