Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products and services for home improvement needs. The role involves assisting with merchandise, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the shopping experience.

Ideal candidates may have 6 months of retail or customer service experience, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. This is an on-site retail position with opportunities for growth and bilingual abilities are

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
