Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience at one of our Lafayette stores.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and assist across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, and Home Décor. The role offers part-time hours, training, and opportunities to grow with a national retailer.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smart phones, tablets)
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties as required
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Replenish stock and organize shelves to ensure products are available
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time fulfillment
• Cross-train in other store areas to provide excellent customer service
• Prepare department merchandise to meet customer needs (e.g., paint mixing, pipe cutting)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
