Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Lynn, MA to be the friendly face of our service team. You will assist customers with U-Haul products, use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to dispatch rentals, and help with moving and hooking up trucks and trailers on site.

You will inspect equipment, answer questions, prepare invoices, and participate in ongoing U-Haul education and training programs. This role includes safety certifications and potential career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn U-Haul systems and find information quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
