Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Lubbock, TX. You will assist customers, manage rentals using U-Scan, and help with moving and hooking up trucks and trailers. The role includes inspecting equipment, answering questions, and processing invoices.

On-the-job education is provided, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement while maintaining safety protocols and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment) and forklift training provided.
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
