Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers, manage rentals with U-Scan tech, and ensure equipment is ready and safe for use across our locations.

You will learn on the job with opportunities for advancement, safety training, and certification programs. The role emphasizes customer care, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot.
• Educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift certification offered on employment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education.
• Other duties as assigned
