Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals for the position of Customer Service Representative. You will be the face of exceptional service, assisting customers, managing rentals with U-Scan technology, and ensuring equipment is ready for use.

The role includes opportunity for growth and on-the-job education. The company advertises two hands-on interviews with pay and bonus incentives, including a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the Equipment Inspection program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring (certification offered after employment).
• Operate a forklift (certification offered after employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
