Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve customers at our Meriden location, helping with products and services, managing rentals with U-Scan technology, and assisting with equipment movement and inspection.

You will be part of a team delivering the company’s renowned service, ensuring customers get all the help they need during their journeys and at the point of pickup. Training and certifications are available as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
