Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals for the Customer Service Representative role at our Marshalltown location. You will be the face of our service, helping customers with products, dispatching and returning equipment, and maintaining the fleet.

This position emphasizes safety, customer education, and hands-on use of U-Haul technology, with on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly, helpful customer service.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and prepare equipment for customers.
• Answer questions and educate customers on offerings.
• Process rental invoices and returns; install hitches and wiring.
