Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative at our Egg Harbor Township location to assist customers with rentals and services, inspect equipment, and ensure a smooth journey.

You will use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to manage rentals, move and hook up trucks and trailers, prepare invoices, and answer questions. On-the-job education and a fast-start pay program are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill training offered.
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
